My favourite passtime is to talk about world politics, philosophy, religion or current affairs over a bottle of wine and a good meal with someone who doesn't take himself too seriously. I enjoy dark humour and sarcasm.
I am very independent and at times enjoy my own space, so don't need to be with someone all the time, which doesn't mean that I am not committed to being in a relationship. I enjoy the intimacy of a relationship and knowing someone really well. I also like spoiling someone; it's those special little moments and touches that I treasure in life, that stand out and I remember.
I prefer spending time with a small group of friends rather than go to parties or night clubs, as you can't talk to anyone and that's what I like to do. I like being creative and doing things with my hands. It is not important to me to share all my interests with someone else (who knows, I might even discover a new interest that way), but what is important to me is that we share the same values. I am passionate about life and people; tolerance and a humanitarian outlook on life are essential to me. I value honesty and openess and like someone who can think "outside the box". I am open to new ideas and love discovering new insights, ideas, places.

I would love to travel to India and drive across Canada - but I am happy to travel anywhere, as most places have something of interest to discover
