Languages Spoken:

Arabic and Mandarin are languages I enjoy hearing spoken but alas I only speak 'un po' Italina having lived there a for a year or so. My french is vey basic. I am so embarassed as so many of my friends speak more than one language unlike me.

Musical Instruments played:

I am very rhythmic and can play the drums and fancy myself as a rock, however I would love to play acoustic guitar and sing along like Joni Mitchell or Lordes!

Music Enjoyed:

I love, love music and have very ecclectic tastes. Growing up in the 60's and 70's I was into ska, reggae, Motown and punk, pink floyd, genesis. I then really got into dance music and spent many years going to legal and illegal raves in the city and in the middle of fields...bliss . Now I try to keep up with whats new in the music scene, love festival and occasionally go to gigs.

Sports and exercise:

I used to be very active but I broke my leg a few years ago which has curtailed my involvement in some activities but still try to keep fit. I swim, ride horses, ski (badly), cycle, do yoga and occasionally pilates. I have always anted to try an extreme sport like bungy jump or white water rafting but am too chicken.

Interests and activities:

Oh my goodness I have loads of interests . I am quite adventurous and would try most activities once. I love the creative arts and in all its genres particularly filmaking. Like most people I would love to write, produce and direct my own creation. I did try once but thats a long story... I also enjoy cooking for ohers, story telling and am trying to find more spirituality in my life.

Animals and Pets:

Love dogs and goldfish but have neither

Newspapers and magazines:

I read the Big Issue, Guardian, Independent, the Observer, Dazed and Confused and Vanity Fair for gloss, I also read a lot online like most people and enjoy Huffington Post,Onion, twitter and FB.

Books:

Virtually all of the above apart from 'chic lit', Jilly Cooper and John Grisham. I try to educate myself reading though the classics.

Favourite Films:

Inde directors: Andrea Arnold, Steve McQueen, Wes Anderson, the Cohen Bros, lynne Ramsay, Mike Leigh the list goes on.. i also love foreign language films french, Iranian, Italian and of couse nearer to home young, edgy filmmakers.

Enjoyable evening out:

I enjoy attending creative, unsusual events that make you think, laugh, discuss and reflect on. I am highly social and just love going and having fun

Favourite Dishes:

I used to be a vegetarian but now enjoy eating white meat and fish. I love cooking, eating out and generally sharing food with others. Travelling around I like trying out different dishes and consider my palate very sophistcated.

Ideal Holiday:

I love travelling and woulike to take a year off and visit a number of countries on my list.; Chile, Brazil, Laos, Indonesia, Ghana, Namibia and doing route 66 in the US on a harley.

In another life:

Anais Nin, Why not? She led a very intersting life. A woman not of her time. Actually I would like more than one other life perhaps three or four as a pioneer, a creative, a healer.

Personality:
