Loving,affectionate,sometimes funny(i think- or were they grimaces?),like to be passionate and occasionally angry (mainly at injustice not you!). I can be sociable, like to be out in the world doing fun things- films ,friends, curries-the usual suspects- but also love some quiet times just chilling at home, either on my own or with someone special.
Fave times are hanging out in the swing seat in my garden on a summer night with good mates and a cold beer. The people in my life are the most important thing to me.

Occupation:

I have been a psychologist in the NHS since qualifying- yes after all those student years, i finally did some work! I also now work with my family as well- lots of property decorating so a good balance to the heavy stuff in hospital.

Education:

Highschool and then uni- twice! no- im not that stoopid that i had to do it all again.............

Heritage:

officially born and bred in essex but made my escape.. Now i only dance around my handbag on very special occasions.

Not religious but spiritual.

Appearance:

weeellll- see the photo and judge for yourself...............not too bad for 190 - those creams are marvellous thes days.

Languages Spoken:

French, just a soupcon of , how you say, tres dodgy french.

Music Enjoyed:

Pop, 70s music, 80s music, 70s and 80s were my time so like lots from then- roxy music, fleetwood mac, elton john.

Sports and exercise:

Gym, Gym on a regular basis- followed by latte and cake errr i mean lettuce leaf and beansprout- tee hee. And i walk- do not mock, it is good for me.

Interests and activities:

Cooking, . ..salsa, Eating Out, Friends, Reading, Theatre, Doing lots of dancing at the moment- i started with salsa but now love bachatta. It is only for fun though so do not expect me on strictly any time soon. My other love is film- especially french films- they have a style all of their own. Also like a bit of Bollywood- an acquired taste i dont expect anyone to share but great if you do.

Animals and Pets:

Dont do well with pets- the rabbit went nutty, the cat that i loved moved in with the neighbours but still expects to visit and the cat we have left thinks its a dog. i never said i was a pet psychologist!

Newspapers and magazines:

Cosmopolitan, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, Hello, Time Out, Id like to say the Times and New scientist but that would be a lie. Usually ends up much more intellectual with the mail and cosmo.

Books:

Martin Amis, Nick Hornby, Sebastian Faulks, I have crazes on different authors at different times- love ian Mcewan- early stuff mainly, and sebastian Faulks. Am main lining on french books at the mo- Balzac and Colette.

Favourite Films:

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, From Russia with Love, The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Les Enfants du Paradis, Love Story, Manhattan, Psycho, Some Like It Hot, So many films so little time- a firm old favourite is Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre.

Enjoyable evening out:

Cinema, Meal, Salsa night, Theatre, Always up for trying anything new though.

Favourite Dishes:

Chicken Tikka, A Chinese banquet, Handmade Pizza, Lasagne, Lemongrass and ginger marinated chicken, Mediterranean vegetables and Ricotta wrapped in Filo, Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding, Steak and chips, Tomato + Mozarella salad, Have i just made myself sound like a piggy? No no really- i would just order salad.

Ideal Holiday:

Driving across the US, Lying on a beach in the Caribbean, ooooooooooooo- i wouldnt be able to choose. As i have been to the caribbean i may have to go with the drive round the states. Especially if its in an open topped car along the coastline.

In another life:

I know this sounds really weird but i always wanted to be Anne Boleyn. But not when she had her head chopped off- if i could just opt out of that last little bit!

Personality:

Affectionate, Caring, Confident, Friendly, Humorous, Loving, Practical, Reliable, Sensitive, Sociable, Thoughtful, I think- but maybe thats just my opinion and they think i am moody and wild. Anyhow- they seem quite happy to be my friends- i pay them well........................................
